I found my passion for customer service, and helping others at a very young age beginning with a neighborhood paper route, and watering the garden early morning at a local nursery before the first bell of high school.
After graduating from UC Davis, and finding a particular fondness in San Francisco’s vibrant and diverse culture, I put my customer service chops to work, opening and managing a hotel downtown. From there, my next career step was quite seamless, becoming a Real Estate Agent, guiding individuals and families toward their dreams of home ownership. I bring a unique blend of dedication and enthusiasm to the real estate world. As an experienced Realtor, I understand that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction—it’s a significant life event. My goal has always been to work with kind, genuine people, and to make the process of selling or buying a home smooth, stress-free, and successful – and I am extremely grateful to say that through my 20 years of calling myself a Realtor, I’ve managed to do just that.
Having loved living in San Francisco for well over a decade, we made the short trek over the bridge to Alameda 10 years ago, a move that has allowed me to service clients in both San Francisco and the East Bay.
I am a devoted family man, finding my true life’s pleasure in spending time with my family — my wife, Lori, and our children, Izzy and Cruz. When I’m not selling real estate, you can find me enjoying long walks with my wife, coaching my children’s many sport teams, on the pickleball court, playing competitive softball, practicing Yoga, or finding the latest hot spot restaurant to indulge in.
I look forward to connecting with you soon, and to being your guide on this Real Estate journey!
When your clients start looking across the Bay, I’d love to be your trusted connection. Don’t lose them. Put them in good hands and get paid for the connection!
I’m based in Alameda and specialize in helping buyers and sellers throughout Alameda and the East Bay—with the local knowledge, strategy, communication, and level of care many of you are already familiar with, and you want for the people you refer.
After 21 years in real estate—and more than a decade living and working in San Francisco—I understand both sides of the move and how to make that transition feel seamless.
Your clients stay your clients. I simply take great care of them on this side of the Bay.
So when you hear:
“We’re thinking about Alameda (or anywhere else in the East Bay)…”, or “We need more space…”, or “Where can’t pay for private school for our growing family…"
What an amazing day to support and celebrate the great cause that is @welcomehomeprojectsf. Thank you @sfassociationofrealtors and @vantagesanfrancisco ⛳️ 💫
What a day sending off one of the greatest broadcasters of all time. The Giants didn’t win, but there was family, lots of laughs, great vibes, 2 caught balls, many tears and lots of love. Thank you for all the memories, Kruk. Watching/listening to a Giants game will never feel the same. So long for now. #sfgiants #grateful #thankyou #attababekruk
2012 → 2026. Fourteen years ago, I had the privilege of helping this amazing human buy her first San Francisco home. Today, we’re celebrating the sale of it together. ❤️
A very special full-circle moment, and one I’m incredibly grateful for. 💫 #grateful #lovewhatyoudo #dreamsdocometrue #robcostabilerealestategroup
14 years ago, I had the privilege of helping my client purchase her very first home in San Francisco. 🏡 💫
And now, all these years later, I had the honor of helping her sell that very same home—at a record price—and begin an exciting new chapter.
There’s something incredibly special about being invited back into someone’s life for these milestone moments. To have earned her trust then, and to still have it 14 years later, means more to me than I can put into words.
This business has never just been about homes for me. It’s about the people, the relationships, and being there as life evolves from one chapter to the next.
So grateful for her trust, for the journey, and for the opportunity to come full circle together. ❤️ #repeatclients #grateful #lovewhatyoudo
Exciting day for the 10 and 11 yr old AllStars getting to meet Alameda’s Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft, and receiving a Certificate of Recognition for winning their Districts. #AlamedaProud #MarilynEzzyAshcraft #grateful
